Emley sheweth nothing but three monuments, one whereof is of Grey marble arched on the left hand going up to the altar; the second is this on the right hand sayd to belong to the Pillins a family now extinct. and the third adjoining to this and which I have drawn underneath belonged to Maurice Hurley Esqr.

This Monument is seen at the East end of the Abbey Ch. on the left hand of the Altar and opposite to the Pulpit with this Inscripcon in Roman Capitall Letters on black marble whereof the whole monument is made.
