François de Gerzan

Biographical Notes	François du Soucy, sieur de Gerzan was a French writer and alchemist, of whom very little is known beyond his writings. The works cover a range of topics, from the praise of women of excellence through travel to alchemy. The BNF authority files gives no dates: the dates given here are based on Anna R. Larsen's "Anna-Maria von Schurman, the 'Star of Utrecht'" (2016), p. 125.
