As the title indicates, this work is based on Comenius's pedagogy. As for its apodemic content, Synge sees little point in travel, putting forth the view that all that is necessary to learn of foreign lands can be learned from books. Beyond this he does not engage in a detailed critique of travel. 'Of Travel' occurs pp. 38-43 of the 1736 edition. |
