Authorship Notes The text on travels is chapter 14 (pp. 192-199) of this book on all aspects of pedagogy. Most of it is a regular dissertation on the utility of travel, albeit one which takes a very enthusiastic view. One notable element is travel as a cure for the vices of young gentlemen, who ought to be sent to countries that are the least exposed to their particular vice (e.g. France in the case of drinking), in order to reform them.
