Biographical Notes	Anonymous author of dissertation number 20. submitted to the prize contest of the Académie de Lyon. The reviewer, count Laurencin, wrote: "Very weak piece. Although the author read and frequently quotes Montaigne, it does not make his reasoning any better. He considers education from the point of view of heart, spirit and body. The order of the three is incorrect. The physical being preceds the moral being. Our organs develop before our understanding does. Listen to this sentence: 'Although I do not consider travelling to be absolutely necessary to perfect education, I do consider them a very useful mean to reach this goal.' Someone who expresses themselves in such ways should not be aiming for academic prizes."
