Authorship Notes The reviewer of the contest, Laurencin mocked the author - a Capucin monk, probably of Italian origin - for his use of language, but also his ideas. The dissertation discusses religion, moral, education and travel without much of an order. An entire section discusses whether the discovery of America was beneficial. The discussion of the benefits of travelling doesn't go beyond abstract considerations.
