Authorship Notes Dallington recommends travel for 'ripening in knowledge' to be performed 'in the service of [the traveller's] countryie'. He presents a systematic approach in which travellers are advised to record information methodically using classification tables with various headings from human and natural geography, to law, governance, and the manners and character of the population. He also advocates the use of a journal to record information. The apodemic section occurs sigs. B1r-C4v.
